Chinese Dragon Boat Festival Dinner
Had a feast on Saturday at my grandparents place to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, which officially falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, it is also known as Double Fifth Day.
We had eight dishes that included
- Stir Fry Scallops and Snow Peas
- Crispy Roast Pork
- Casserole Duck with Prawn Pasta
- Stir Fry Green Beans with Minced Fish
- Steamed Chicken
- Steamed Choy Sum Vegetable
- Chinese Mushroom and Pork Leg Hot Pot
- Pork and Lotus Root

Hi, looks like you guys had a big feast.
I just love food blogs and like visiting yours.
I wonder if you could let me know how to I get the roast pork skin to be really crispy ? When i do it, it is rather uneven.

Hi Linda, thanks for visiting, to get the roast pork skin really crispy. Something i usually do is to make sure the skin is dry, rub it with oil and then sea salt, which will help dry the skin to help it crackle, scoring the skin evenly will also help. Good Luck
